Cheiko grinned. "Absolutely. Martin Freeman is a great actor. I hope they build an ActA* for him. Although, I suppose they'd need to get vocal and facial rights..." She shrugged, then glanced at her watch.
"Oh my word! It's nearly 11! I'd better be heading home. Matthew will––" She stopped herself. "He would have chewed me out." She huffed. "He's so strict, even though the tabloids make him out to be some kind of party boy whenever they post something."
[*an "ActA" is short for Acting Android. They are androids created and programed to act in movies after specific actors have died, or no longer

"Matthew? Is he like..." Jason searched wildly for the right word. "A friend?"
Oh, that had to sound lame.
Quickly trying to change the subject, Jason stood up and offered her his hand with a smile.
"I'll escort you home, then." he said. "Would you like me to walk you, or take a cab?"

Will was walking over to Endosi's house, when he happened to look down at his arm. He saw his watch. "Oh no! Endosi, I have got to go!" He said as he hurried up to her house.
"Good-bye!" he said feelingly as he grabbed her by the shoulders. He planted a loving kiss on her forehead and vaulted over the front porch railing, barely missing the rose-bed. Turning, he ran around a corner, into an alleyway and wove back and forth through back ways until he got to his job just in time to hop in his truck and start off.

Endosi watched him run around a corner with a dreamy look on her face. Her mother opened the front door after hearing a voice outside, and found Endosi staring at simply nothing with a smile on her face.
"Endosi!" Her mother hugged her tightly. "Your father and I were so worried when you didn't come home last night!"
"I'm sorry, I got lost. But Mother!" Endosi said, grabbing her mom's arms and spinning around with her. "I'm in love!"

"No," Cheiko shook her head. "He's like an employer and guardian of sorts. I was originally hired to be a companion for his sister, Misty, but now, I guess I'm just part of the family."
She looked away, then looked back as Jason spoke. He was standing, smiling and holding his hand out for her to take.
"I'll escort you home, then," he said. "Would you like me to walk you, or take a cab?"
Cheiko smiled. "I'd suggest walking––"
Suddenly, speakers placed on the street corners blared to life. "Citizens: please return to your lodgings immediately. We repeat: please return to your lodgings immediately."
The message continued to repeat while people bumped past Jason and Cheiko, hurrying as fast as they could to get to wherever they were staying.
"We'd better take a cab," Cheiko said, hurrying over to the sidewalk where cabs rushed about. She hailed one quickly and gestured for Jason to hop in. "We'll take you home first."

Jason hopped in the cab with Cheiko, smiling broadly.
The cab eventually pulled up to his house, and he stepped out. He turned back to Cheiko quickly with a big smile.
"So... should we plan for something tomorrow? I hope you're not busy. There's somewhere I want to take you." his smile widened. "I'll call you tomorrow, okay?"

Cheiko smiled broadly. "Okay! Thanks for such a good time. I haven't had fun like this in... a while." She stepped out and gave him a quick kiss on the cheek. "Thanks."
She got back into the cab, the door closed behind her and she was off, riding back home to crash in bed.

Jason watched her cab leave, and then smiled. He spun around and then skipped gaily back to his front door. He quickly checked himself.
What would the neighbors think...?
Excitement still coursing through him, he tried to calmly unlock his door. Once inside, he almost forgot to lock his door, but ran back downstairs after running upstairs, a huge grin on his face like a child at Christmastime.
End of day for Jason
