Name: Shawlin Duncan Hynour, Royale
Birth date: June 15th, 2299
Personality: Shawlin is bright, intelligent, and very edifying and intellectual. He is very learnt, and uses his knowledge to build others up. Though he seems he could be stern, and possibly someone who brags, he is actually quite pleasant and caring. He likes to run and go outside a lot, but his asthma prevents him from doing some of the things he wants to. He is normally calm and refined, but can easily make someone laugh if he wants to. But, if he does get provoked, even the calmest of people can lose their temper.
He is happy to be a Royale. He has a good education, and he is always glad to learn more. He sometimes wonders, though, what it would be like being a Subterrean. He ponders over it a lot, but has only visited Subterria once with his father, and was disgusted. He believes that the people there of course had value and potential, but Subterria was not a pleasant place at all. Shawlin hopes that someday he’ll go and start a free school in Subterria, when he has the resources. He believes that those people have the right to learn just as much as the Royales do.
What he looks for in a girl: Shawlin looks for Christian attributes in girls. He looks for a girl who puts other people’s feelings in front of her own, and has a selfless, determined love for him and others. He likes a cute girl, and one who smiles a lot. He enjoys someone who talks a lot, but not someone who won’t let him get a word in in edgewise. He’d love if she also had an interest in writing, reading, and always more learning.
Appearance: Shawlin is tall, strong, and good looking. He has good bone structure, giving him a rather angular jaw and sturdy arms and legs. He is thin, but not extremely skinny, and is 5 ft. 9. He is 18 years old, and has black hair that curls slightly. His eyes are brown, but they aren’t extremely deep or dark. His eyes show emotions clearly, and sometimes betray his thoughts. Though he’s not the teen idol, he’s still handsome.
Shawlin likes wearing a t-shirt with a longish brown jacket, dark jeans, and sneakers or dress shoes. He (unlike his knowledgeable behavior would suggest) doesn’t normally like dressing up formally. He likes wearing simple clothes that don’t restrain him from moving. He does have some fancier clothes, (a suit, which he tries to avoid except for special occasions) and a button down plaid shirt with a pair of jeans and either dress shoes or sneakers. His family is rich and his mother tries to get him good clothes, but he just likes the more simple way about it. Shirt, jacket, jeans, sneakers, and he’s good. His mother loves shopping for him, and he tries to wear most of the clothes she buys him, but you could say she’s a little shop-a-holic. Especially for her son. He has two closets full of clothes, some of which don’t even fit him.

His father worked at a very sophisticated and important university that only kids with potential (and families with enough money to pay for them) were able to attend. The job paid wonderfully, and for many years his family flourished. Shawlin’s father met Mr. Brightworth, and then Shawlin met Endosi, Mr. Brightworth’s adorable daughter. They grew up together, and became best friends.
But then the day came when Shawlin was old enough to attend the university, his father and mother insisted he go. They told him that the type of education he would be receiving was a great privilege, and one that many Royales never experienced. He said good-bye to Endosi, and left with a heavy heart.
Though he felt ashamed to admit it, after a month at the university, he had all but forgotten Endosi. The university was what he had always dreamed of. Education and learning around every bend! Things that he had never even heard of fascinated him, and things that he thought he knew completely seemed to speak to him even clearer. He would spend hours upon hours in the libraries, pouring over book after book, and discovering so many different things. The very renowned Dr. Phlisde saw so much potential in Shawlin that he took him as his personal student. Then the learning became even more intense, and Shawlin thought that he was in heaven.
After seven years, Dr. Phlisde certificated him as finishing his complete scholarship. Phlisde sent him to a high school/ prep college school that terribly needed a new language teacher, and Shawlin started out on a new adventure.
