➢What Does Missy Look For In A Guy? Missy looks for a guy much like her brother: protective, intelligent and unmovable. Since she’s constantly on the move, changing her mind and unable to say no, she needs a guy who will stand by her side and be her anchor. She is partial to height and hazel eyes.
➢Personality
Mistalyn (Missy) is like the typical baby of the family: somewhat spoiled, yet extremely fun-loving and the life of the party. She is extremely exuberant and always laughing. She can find beauty in anything and hates no person. She is loving, gentle and generous and finds it difficult to say no to anybody.
Being stubborn to her core, once Missy makes her mind up about something, she is very difficult to move. She appeals to the laws of logic, but at the same time allows emotions to become a factor into her choices. Missy smiles easily, enjoys making others feel welcome and is always giving of herself first. She is often called selfless.
Missy doesn’t let herself dwell on sad things for very long. After her father died, she missed him, but moved on fairly quickly. She is skilled at distancing herself from people and often can do the same for her emotions. She has a surprisingly cold heart for being so warm-spirited. It comes from her brother training her out of putting any weight in what people say. He was hurt by this and wanted to make sure his little sister didn’t suffer like he had had to. She only dwells on bad things when they are absolutely earth-shattering. Watch out when she's in her "stormy" mood. She can be very scheming and stubborn. She is a very dangerous enemy, especially since she is so often under-estimated.
Naturally wanting to do her own thing and be her own person, Missy is highly independent and free-spirited. She can be unpredictable at times, but is rarely impulsive. She often looks ahead and dreams of what her life will be like. She is a realist like her brother, a night owl (so she sleeps in very, very late) and, in school, she was considered very popular.
➢Physical Appearance
Missy has always been told she looks just like her mother, but she disagrees. She never liked her mother, so she always says she looks like Matthew–– and she’d be right. Neither of the Fletcher children looks like their father, except for in Matthew’s height. Their father was 6’ 6”. Missy holds her own at a medium-sized 5' 7".
With rich, coppery brown hair and sparkling blue eyes, Missy is considered somewhat of a beauty. She has a long, heart-shaped face, full lips and somewhat of an upturned nose. She normally has a perpetual smile on her face, because she is made to laugh and smile so easily. But, when something is troubling her, it is made quite obvious. It is almost like her features literally darken and she becomes very stormy and dangerous.
Missy prefers to wear bright, fun, and in-style clothes, although her wardrobe is often limited by her clothing budget and Matthew's (and her own) modesty rules. She doesn't mind wearing skirts or pants, and sometimes even mixes the two. In her casual, everyday outfits, she will often wear flamboyant t-shirts, jeans and her favorite rainbow-colored belt. Her Portable (AKA cell phone/Photosphere) is rainbow-colored.
➢History
Diane Fletcher, Missy's and Matty's deceased mother, was always a party girl and never wanted to be limited by having children. She only gave birth to Missy and Matty because Oak Fletcher, her husband, wanted them and threatened divorce if he didn't get at least one heir. She gave birth to Matty when she was 21, and Missy when she was 27. Shortly after Missy was born, Diane became heavily involved in the questionable form of partying. She became an absent mother.
When Missy was seven, her mother died of an overdose of a dangerous hallucinogenic in their family's home in the city. Hers and Matty's relationship was already strong, but this drove them together further, as Matthew tried to protect Missy's innocence about the world. Oak Fletcher decided he did not wish to remarry and instead worked on bettering his company and furthering his relationship with his children. Missy and her father were never as close as Matthew and he were, but she was fond of him and appreciated his attention.
Oak Fletcher was murdered by a hired assassin when Missy was twelve years old. He was found by Matthew in his home office the next morning. Missy was nearly immediately removed from the city by the 18 year old Matty and taken to their, normally disused, country estate, where she remained for 6 years, at which time she moved into Matthew's apartment in the city.
While secluded in the country, she became fast friends with a Japanese Subterrean girl named Cheiko Sonoda. They are fast friends and rely very strongly on each other for support. Missy was never interested in going to a university for school. Matthew permitted her to not attend a full university, but instead go to a teacher school, so that she could have at least something to fall back on in case something went wrong with the business.
So far, Matthew has succeeded in protecting her from fortune-hunters and heart-breakers. She has had escorts, but has not yet had a boyfriend.
