On the outside, Matty is a quiet, stoic person who rarely lets emotional outbursts escape. He is very guarded, yet he cares for every person around him and tries to keep them all safe. He is charming and is skilled at charming what he wants out of people. He does most of the shopping at the market because he can get the lowest prices. He doesn't like to bully people and can be easily embarrassed, especially by attractive members of the opposite gender.

Matty is the spitting image of a street fighter and has a cool, calm aura that just screams, "Cross me and you'll be sorry." He often thinks he would have been better off as a Subterrean, then he remembers that he wouldn't have been able to take care of his sister if that had happened. As a result of his "unattainable" air, many of the Royale girls are wild about him and try their hardest to attract him. Once you get to know him, you find that he is actually very aggressive and often demands his way. But, he'll never cross his sister's wants, unless he is trying to protect her.

Having few future goals for himself, Matty is not much of a dreamer. His entire world centers around caring for his sister and getting her settled into a good marriage and a good life. He is the master of their parent's estate and is a kind landlord and excellent manager. He never cheats anyone, nor does he allow himself to be cheated. He is fiercely loyal and a dependable friend.

Matty is a realist, not thinking the worst will happen, nor the best. He is introverted with people he doesn't know or like and extroverted with his close friends and close family members. When you become close to him, you can see a completely different person under that silent, stony exterior. Matty is a mid-morning person. He gets most of his work done before the morning is over. In school, he was a loner.

➢Physical Appearance

Matty is 6 feet eight inches tall with mottle gray-white hair and ice blue eyes. His hair is long in the front, where it is perpetually spiky, and short in back. He has high cheekbones and a firm jaw line. He doesn't color his hair or his eyes because he believes it is a frivolous waste of time. He has medium-toned Caucasian skin and a thin, yet extremely muscular build. He looks best in shades of gray or pale blue.

Often dressed in whatever his valet lays out for him, Matty doesn't really pay much attention to how he dresses. His most common form of attire is a navy blue, pinstripe suit, worn over navy blue slacks, black dress shoes, a pale blue button up shirt and a pale blue satin tie. His casual clothing is not any less formal, except when he goes out to the Subterrean section of the city.

Matthew rarely ever has facial hair. He think it's dirty and doesn't like the effort it takes to wash it out properly and keep it out of his food. His face is a mixture of a diamond and oval shape. His eyes are not too far, but not too close, either. His nose is aqualine, denoting his cool tactician mentality.

Matthew has always had the easy life. He often feels stuck watching the suffering around him while he eat three meals a day and can afford anything. His father owned a successful corporation that has its hands in everything now. Matthew sits at the head of it, in both the CEO and Presidential positions. He works very hard and isn't afraid of trying new things.

I'm not going to say that Matthew never felt love as a child, firstly because he would never says that and second because it's untrue. He did indeed have a lonely childhood, but he feels it was well spent protecting his sister from the poisonous influences that affected and eventually took their mother from them. Missy is six years younger than Matthew and so, they *should* have been only children, but because of Matthew's protectiveness, He turned out to be the responsible older sibling and Missy was the playful, fun-loving youngest child.

When Matty was thirteen, his father decided to send him into Subterria for three months. He was unable to return until they came for him and he had to prove he was strong by surviving. This was also a test of intelligence. Matthew was afraid at first and worried about Missy, but then he toughened up and became somewhat of a street legend. He could defeat almost anyone in a fist fight and could out bargain the greediest sales person. His father came for him and was surprised by how successful he was. After that, he was sent back once a year for three months until his father died. The rest of the year he was trained in business and leadership.

Mr. Fletcher was murdered by people within his own corporation who sought to control one of the wealthiest businesses in OnNa when Matthew was 18 years old. This left him the CEO and President of the company and the guardian of his 12-year-old sister. He visited her as often as his schedule would allow and arranged for her to have a governess and a companion. He brought a young woman from Subterria to be Missy's close friend, so she could learn of the other side without having to go there. She was kept at the Fletcher's country estate for most of her teenaged years.

Matthew is often having to dodge threats from other companies and attempts at blackmailing him into giving up his spot in the company. This is why he was so worried about "bringing out" Missy when she was only 17. He had always been her physical protector, but he could no longer protect her heart or her mind like he had when they were little. He tries his best to keep unwanted suitors away from her and does his best to keep them from breaking her heart or soiling her reputation.

He considers himself to be, basically, Missy's guardian angel.

On February 3rd of 2317, Matthew met Cassandra Diane Hunt, a young run-away Royale who needed his help to survive in Subterrea. He took her to his home and they both managed to become deeply infatuated, if not in love by that next evening.

On February 4th of 2317, Matthew was turned into an I.S. by a member of the Ambian government. He took on many wolf characteristics. Because he was going to fight for Cassandra's right to refuse the arranged peace-marriage, he was knocked out and exiled from OneNation. He has been taken to the Badlands.
