New Lands Have Been Opened

As our plot line has been expanding to include other lands outside of OnNa (and some new inside lands), I have seen a need to open boards so we can roleplay the Republic of Ambia, the Council of Representatives and the "Badlands."

Feel free to create characters that go in any of these, please just specify their nationality.

In the Republic of Ambia, you have two sections, the I.S.es and then the normal, run of the mill rich people, just referred to as Ambians. If you make either one of these, please put either "Ambian" or "I.S." in the header where you would normally put "Royale" or "Subterrean."

The Council of Representatives is pretty basic. We have one hundred two cities around OnNa, which means that we have 102 elected representatives who vote on legislature in the Council. The figure head is known as the Chancellor, but s/he really has no power in the government. S/he is the one who makes all of the key announcements. The REAL leaders and decision-makers are the Trioda, three people who are NOT elected by the people, but instead receive their power from owning stock in the government.

The Badlands are the lands between Ambia and OnNa that create a natural barrier. Mostly rocky mountains, infertile desert and hard, craggy rock, it is home to fugitives from the law on both sides of the border. There are small townships that established their own form of government. It's very similar, in that respect, to the old West.

I know we already have a lot of places and races in this RP, but I'd like to add another (-waits for groaning-).

Anyways, the newest addition to our Roleplay are "The Sky Ports." The Sky Ports are cities that float and somewhat drift high above the Badlands. They are places of peace and prosperity, but also a place of cut-throat pirates! AARRG! They travel through the air in Sky Ships, who ride wind currents and are powered by Solar Sails that take energy from sunlight.

The native people of the Sky Ports are called Sky-Mariners (Sky-mare-in-ers). They often have extravagantly colored hair (think bright purples, greens...). They have entire biospheres, where they grow fruits, vegetables, flowers–– anything! They also raise sheep and cattle. The one thing they can't produce is the iron, copper, coal, gold and silver they need to keep their machinery running. As the Mountains of the Badlands are blessed with those, they trade fresh foods and meats for the metals and coal.

The only way to get to the Sky Ports is to hitch a ride on supply skiffs that dock in major cities of the Badlands to do trade with them. It is normally very tricky to convince a captain to allow you aboard (meaning, it's very, very expensive), but it'll be worth it to the people who can afford it.

There are 7 Sky Ports. They are Solaria, Brunei, Asernini, Itova, Castropur, Anton and Aquias. Each one is ruled by a prince/princess known as a Ciel-Mer.
