~Personality~

Perseus is a fighter to the core. He was born fighting and he is certain that he will die fighting. He loves activities that give him an adrenaline rush. He rules his “tribe” (AKA, a gang known as the “Mustangs”) well and more like a father and king than a tyrannical ruler, like the last person. The Mustangs have actually become one of the more popular gangs, since they are willing to protect the average person and town they reign over (for a small cost, of course). He believes very firmly in the principle that there’s no such thing as a free lunch. Since he’s always had to fight for everything he’s had, he thinks everyone else should do the same.

Never wanting to be outdone, Perseus is highly competitive and will not rest until he is known as the top dog. He is rarely greedy, but takes only his fair share (which is often larger than everyone else’s) and tries to instill in his recruits that you only take what you’ve earned, to try and deter theft that used to be a problem. He is a night person and sleeps into the early to mid-afternoon most days. He (and his sister) are part I.S, but only Perseus expresses any of the traits. He’s part coyote, so he’s somewhat devious, highly intelligent and prefers to hunt alone.

Perseus is basically a womanizer. He loves himself a pretty face and is a shameless flirt with girls he’s interested in. He has won every girl’s heart so far. He practically collects girlfriends. Every time he goes to a new town, he snags a new girl friend who he keeps there, isolated from the rest of his girlfriends. He never gives his cheating a second thought.

~Appearance~

Perseus is tough, lithe and agile, with an average sized, muscled up build. His hair is a deep orange-red, like the color of the sunset. He keeps it on the long side of short, so he constantly looks like he needs a hair-cut. His eyes are a deep blue. His nose is straight, but has a bump in the middle of it from where he had his nose broken in the same place twice.

With a height of 5' 11", Perseus is not the tallest member of his tribe. But with a bit of ego and charisma (which he possesses in excess), he's made to be one of the tallest. He normally wears jeans and a tank top underneath a bullet/ion-proof jacket that looks like an old fashioned blue general's coat. It has brass buttons running up the sides where it fastens. He rarely wears a hat, but often wears a black or navy blue bandanda to filter the air during sand storms. He has a pair of steam-punk style, brass goggles he wears so he can still see in the storms.

Perseus has a double piercing on both ears, but doesn't have the time or patience to get any more. He doesn't wear much jewelry, apart from a thumb ring, his earrings and a chrome necklace that identifies him as the leader of the Mustangs. He doesn't have any tattoos. He actually has very few scars.

~History

Perseus' mother died when he was born, leaving him with a father who turned to drink to drown his sorrows. Ever since he saw how angry and depressed his dad became while drinking, he vowed to never drink alcohol himself. He was never extremely close with his twin sister, Siren, but he loved her and tried to be the man of the house and get her food. But she never wanted to be dependent on him, so they decided to just find food for themselves. Their father disappeared when they were about 12 and some other people took their house. They became homeless orphans, stuck in one of the many small towns that dotted the Badlands.

When he was 13, Perseus decided to join their town's ruling gang, called the "Mustangs." He loved having other guys to hang out with an cause trouble with. He challenged his way up the command chain and, after several years, became the deputy. He just recently inherited the leadership position, but he's already used to it. He tries to be the best ruler possible.

Perseus was always gone a lot, so when he could, he gave his sister a horse and some money so she could travel around and see the Badlands. They don't see much of each other.
