Cassandra nodded. "True. I don't have any siblings." she yawned. "I don't really mind though. I've always had my alone time."

He sensed some more sadness behind her words, but chose to ignore it in favor of dealing with her hair. Moving behind her, he deftly Dutch-braided her bangs back into a headband braid. "That'll get those bangs out of the way." He said as he continued braiding the hair, eventually turning it into a ponytail. "Shall we head down to the gym now?"

Cassandra was surprised at how quickly he braided her hair. She patted the top of her head, and immediately one rebellious strand of her bangs slipped out of the braid. She stared up at it and made a face.
"OK. That's just not fair."
She followed Abner down to the gym, happy that he wasn't making her show the way.

Zack thought about this for a minute, "So have they actually been, successful with any of these experiments, besides the test subjects going nuts?" Just then the rain finally stopped and the sun peeked through the layers of clouds, causing a full rainbow to appear. He looked up, closed his eyes, and took a deep breath enjoying the moment and the beautiful sight that was before him.
