So... I know Anwen likes Furuba.
(Just wondering if you prefer Kyo-kun over Yuki-kun. I really don't like Kyo. Mostly because he's so... I don't know. He lacks self-control. And has a foul temper. And a foul mouth. Personally, my favorite character is Ayame-san, closely followed by Shigure-san and Yuki-kun. I also really like Momiji-chan and Hatsuharu-san.)
Has anybody heard or seen "Howl's Moving Castle?"

No, I haven't seen "Howls Moving Castle". What's it about?
In Fruits Basket, I really like Momoiji and Kyo. And, of course, Tohru. I haven't read much of the series, but I know some things about it. Kyo is probably one of my favorites, except, of course, for the annoying fact that he uses some bad language.

Ok, this is the picture that really defined Ayame for me. Maybe the anime portrays him differently, but the manga makes him... annoying to say the least about men wearing dresses. I admire him in that he's trying his best to patch up his relationship with Yuki. He is funny with his "exuberance" in everything as well. He's a so-so character for me. Attachments:

-shrugs- I honestly don't mind guys trying on or wearing a (traditionally) girl's clothing. I mean, he's not homosexual, and it's just clothes. Its about your mindset when you wear them. He's not interested in other men (despite his and Shigure's jokes), so I personally think its all right, to the extent he takes it.
I think I like him so much because his relationship with his brother is very similar to mine with my sister. She and I often do not get along, mostly because there is a lack of understanding between us. I really identify with him, although I am not like him in temperament. Actually, I am much more like a cross between Hatori and Shigure, to be honest.
Howl's Moving Castle is a story about a girl who gets cursed and thereby is turned into an old woman. She goes on an adventure to free herself from the curse and gets tangled up with a selfish, but ultimately well-meaning wizard named Howl. It's really good. The book its based on is great too!

Oh, and to your question about Kyo vs. Yuki, I'd have to say that I haven't made my mind up. I'll have to say the Yuki is the most like me... at least for standards. Which is kind of interesting seeing as I'm year of the rat. Did you ever read the manga? Because Kyo really does get better as he goes on. (And you feel even more sorry for him). In a list, Yuki and Kyo are tied... for what place I'm not sure yet. But, for the other members of the zodiac, I think 1st, 2nd, and 3rd go to: Momiji (poor guy!) Kisa (so sweet!) Hatsuharu (He's just interesting) For last place, DEFINITELY Akito. He is... Confusing? Powerful? Evil? He keeps saying things like "I love you, I love you all." to the zodiac, and then does what he does in the document below. Oh! Have you read La Corda d'oro? Or seen it? Gil, Will, Sydny, and Alex all have pics from that anime! Attachments:

Yeah, I'm reading the manga, but I already know how it all ends. Akito has this HUGE secret, so I won't spoil it for you. I actually feel really bad for Akito, despite all the horrible things he's done.
And, despite the manga, I really hate Kyo. I think the only reason he ends up with Tohru is because the author was playing favorites. Yuki and Tohru are much better suited for each other.
Yeah, Kisa is okay. I was never really that interested in her because she's kind of boring. After a while, it was just, "Oh, look! Yet another member of the zodiac who has issues that Tohru must help them through." -shrugs- She IS adorable, though.
Nope. I haven't even heard of it, but it sounds French. The title isn't in Japanese. (I should know, I'm studying both! XP) Do you read it in English or the original language?

I read la Corda d'Oro in English, even if it is Italian (which is the lanuage I'm taking this year). I really enjoyed it!
Probably my all-time-favorite is the Tsubasa manga. It's complex, it's a very sacrificial love, and only one character uses very much language. The anime is fine, but, of course, they didn't take it far enough. (Don't they always)
I also really like Imadoki. And Kimi ni Todoke.

I tried reading Tsubasa, but I couldn't get very far. I was really confused and a little bit bored XP Shows you how long my attention span is.
I really like "I Am Here," "Maximum Ride: The Manga," and "Dot Hack." Although, Dot Hack often has immodestly clad women (yuck). There's another one called "Azumanga Diaoh" (not sure if that's how its spelled), but it has a little bit of questionable stuff. No worse than Fruits Basket, though. No one uses foul language, its just a little bit of innuendo and a teacher who's worse than Shigure when it comes to High School girls. He's essentially harmless, just a little bit creepy.

Hey guys! So, I just wanted to tell you guys about a new manga/anime series I've found. It's adorable!
Kamisama Hajimemashita/Kamisama Kiss.
Kamisama means Land-god, which is basically just a guardian of the land in Japan. It's an interesting look into the Japanese religious culture, and at the same time is an entertaining shoujo comedy. ^_^ Tomoe is my favorite.
