Personality: Thomas is a very easy-going young man. While having the ability to close off all emotions, he can lock onto the humorous side of things as well. He can put on a business like face, and be laughing on the inside.
Thomas is a young man with a strong opinion. Even if he is sure of himself, and quite positive that he is correct, he usually manages to keep his cool when challenged. But when he does lose it, he is intense. He has tried very hard to keep his quick temper in check, and it has paid off, in most cases.
Thomas is deadly with a gun. Though very friendly and seemingly laid-back, he can become extremely serious very quickly. He always keeps a gun nearby, not quite feeling safe without one. If robbed of the weapon, he feels much more exposed and vulnerable.
What Thomas looks for in a girl: Thomas wants a girl who is supportive. He doesn't want every other word from her mouth to be a negative or condescending one. He doesn't plan on getting married, seeing as he doesn't rightly have a home, or much money, and he doesn't want his wife scraping along with him. If she was willing to give up what she had, to lovingly go wherever he took her, and live in any kind of condition, then he would certainly consider matrimony. Through his years, its appeared to him that that type of girl doesn't exist. Or maybe he just hasn't met her yet...
Appearance: Thomas stands at a solid 6 ft. 1 in. He has a very pleasing countenance, and a strong build. He is very lean, but he has toned arms and legs. He is not buff, just firm and well used to hard labor. His hands are calloused from hard work, as well as his feet.
Thomas has soft, blonde hair that falls over his eyes in a handsome manner. It is not too long, and it almost could be considered fluffy. His eyes; oh he wished they were a different shade! He cannot stand his clear purple eyes, that most girls fall head over heals for. Though why, he could never understand. He thinks they are a hideous color for a man's eyes.
Thomas likes wearing comfortable, easy clothing. White looks good on him, but he doesn't like to wear it, as he thinks it would look weird mixed in with other Badlanders. He usually instead wears a zip up black jacket with (rather fashionable) jeans. Sneakers usually attire his feet.
History: Thomas was born to Myriah and Edward Shawn, as their second son. Being the extremely rich family that they were, life was very leisurely. Thomas realized the need to begin to make his own income, and, thankfully, quickly found a very well paying job. His parents were very proud of him, to get so far into life before even turning 20. He passed all his grades with flying colors, and, at the age of 25, had enough money to support himself on his own. He truly loved his family, but he had felt this strange tugging, telling him it was time to move on.
He packed up what he wanted to take with him, and set out for Borderway. His manager wanted another worker there anyway, and so Thomas, agreeably, obliged. He now could get the best of both worlds. Create an income, and enjoy his new freedom.
