"What!" Litonya stood there, stunned, with one hairpin halfway to her hair.
"It's true!" Reynard reassured her. "I was there and helped get a girl out! Of course," he looked down at the floor sheepishly. "I just helped at the very end. Gil, Gillean Elcarnin I mean, actually got her to the window, I just caught her so that he could get out too."
Cloe, a Sophomore, came over, "and you know what the school burning down means?" Lita shook her head, still bewildered. "It means that there's no more school for a while! We can go ice-skating, and snowboarding..."
"And you can help out." Said Mrs. O'Shea. "All the servants will be very busy tomorrow, preparing for Timothy's welcome home party. Timothy is coming home tomorrow, since he did extra work and left in the summer, and he's bringing a friend."
"A handsome friend?" Cloe asked, a sly smile on her face.
"A younger friend. He was a child prodigy... skipped half his grades!" Mrs. O'Shea whirled to Lita. "Miss Isti, I'm putting you in charge of invitations. I need you to invite the Elcarnins, the Fletchers, all the family that live near enough to come, and-"
"Myrtle, I'm not inviting that upstart Matthew Fletcher into my house!" Mr. O'Shea
"Aidan, dear, why not? We want to celebrate our son don't we? We're inviting most of Royalia anyway, and we don't want to slight them do we? Come dear," Mrs. O'Shea came over to her husband and kissed him on the cheek. "Let me invite his sister at least!"
"Fine."

After a fine dinner, and giving Litonya a complete list of names, addresses, and invitations, all the O'Sheas went to bed.
Lita, however, wrote out half of the invitations before going to bed around 10:30.
