Personality: Edward is very tricky. He likes to get more money from people who have already paid him. When they first come on his ship, he has them pay the regular fee but for other things like food and using the bathrooms he charges a little extra for. He seams to always have a trick up his sleeve. He literally has tricks in his sleeves such as card tricks and trick guns.
Edward is also a bully. He doesn't have any friends because of mean attitude. He yells at his crew and treats his passengers badly. He is stern and doesn't like anyone taking over his position. Because of his attitude, he sometimes doesn't make the right decisions.
Edward is a sucker for girls. He'll do anything for a girl including giving her a free ride in his ship. He likes girls but has never had any girl as a friend(except for his sister). He would prefer not to have his sister around because she tries to be the one in charge. The only reason why he lets her stick around is because she is smarter than he is in that she can write and he can't.
Physical Appearance: Edward is very handsome. He reaches a height of 6'1" when he isn't hunched over. He is very strong and you can see it as he moves. He has extremely large hands which he is quite proud of. His legs are somewhat short for someone being 6'1" but it makes him look better for some reason.
Edward likes to wear nice cloths. He wears a long-sleeve white button up shirt which he is very picky about keeping clean. He also wears tan slacks, a brown belt, and expensive brown leather shoes. He also has a black dress shirt which he only wears when there is a captain that is higher in rank than he is. One of his most prized possessions is his antique .45 caliber pistol which he always has locked up tight.
Edward has a hansom face. He has ear-length white hair which comes just below his eyes. His eyebrows are long and thin. He has hazel colored eyes and a sharp nose. Usually one side of his mouth is turned down and he has a very sharp chin. His neck is thin and strait and he has a scar on his neck from getting burned when he was a kid.
History: When Edward was a boy, his mom and dad left him and his sister with their aunt and went on an adventure and never returned. Edward never liked his aunt and he and his sister soon ran off. They had a hard time for a while until they found a job working as janitors on a ship called the "Marilyn". They didn't like the lack of respect that they got from the crew and once they got enough money the bought a ship and named it the "Mad Ferry". They hired a crew of the most awful men you could think of and started a business.
Shortly into their business they ran into a money problem. The way they fixed it was they started 'taking a little extra'. For instance, getting a breath of fresh air would cost a dollar extra; water would cost two fifty cents per cup, etc. Pretty soon their money problem got so bad that they decided to take one of the newer crew and have him go through the passenger's belongings and take the most valuable thing that they found. Once one of the newbies didn't understand what Edward's sister said and he ended up taking all of the person's luggage and then got fired.
What he looks for in a girl: Edward wants a girl period. He doesn't really care what she looks like or how she acts as long as she isn't too flirtatious. He wants her to also be smart or at least smarter than he is.
