Hey all! I was wondering if any Subterraen folks (or Royale) would like to make some plans to meet up with Analise/the family(meaning mostly Jacques{or George and John if some 15 yr old girl wants to meet up with them})

Jacques is in a street gang called the Sharks.

Analise gets out of the house mostly only when she goes to work or grocery shopping.

George and John are going out to the movies tonight.

Well, I have Ada and Tucker and they are not doing much. (Ada is a Royale and Tucker is a Subterrean.) So...if you want them to meet somehow I'd be fine with that. (:
(And I just finished Jordan, another Suberrean. Although she hasn't been accepted yet.)

Well they can run into Thyatira or Cyrus anytime and I know Rab would love to meet them, especially since he's not doing much.

Yeah, pol meeting is good, but I meant more so of an already met typea thing. Like one of your guys could be a part of Jacques gang or an opposing gang or one of your characters 15 yr old sisters could meet George at the movie or something. Somebody meeting and running into tons of ppl all in one day randomly is kinda qweird.

Tucker could be a part of the gang. (: I really dont have anything else for him to be doing....

It's kinda hard for Lita to know anyone yet... She could have met Analise on one of her other walks.

A few years back, Lita's brother, Jerek, was on a gang called the Tigers. He did it to protect and to gain means of providing for her. This backfired when they lived with their uncle. The other gang members wouldn't allow him to leave. Jerek went to another gang, the Sharks, and asked for their help. They agreed and he told them all the Tiger's weaknesses. When his uncle was removed to the Asylum, Jerek agreed to become a Shark as long as he could leave when he wished. Lita never knew, but Jerek's "accident" wasn't an accident at all. It was revenge.
(This was a completely spur-of-the-moment history of one of my dead characters)

Zylle hasn't met anyone yet. She's too shy to come up to people and say hi, but she loves it if they say hi to her. (Sorry for not saying that on her profile.) She doesn't have a home yet and would truly appreciate it if someone helped her out. (Sorry if I'm being a burden.... =0)

Yes Misty. To both your questions. Lita looks like Jerek except that she is (obviously) much more feminine.

Oh, I had Jordan run into John and George. Just wanted to make sure you knew it was them she ran into. They could already be friends or somthing if that would help...??

Yeah, I meant them to be meeting her lol Like meeting a friend at the theater.

Jordan had been using her pay to earn enough money to hang out with them at the theater. So, when the guy refused to give her any, she didn't want to let down John and George and went ahead and took it and she did wash his windows, she rightfully deserved it anyways. (;

I understand that there is a definite need to have some less developed side-characters. However, I don't think that there should be story lines depending so much on Annalise's brothers unless they have a character profile...we don't really know anything about them. I'm fine with them interacting within her family, but when they become full-fledged characters, I really think they should have profiles written about them.

I agree with Tinuviel. All these secondary characters can get confusing and it would really help if you would write a profile for them.

You are learning about them. Every time you get inside their head you learn more about them; you have to pick up on it; personally, I think people need to start adding some description to their writing instead of assuming the reader knows every detail about every character. Like just because you have a 'profile' outside of the story doesn't mean you don't need to describe them inside it.

I agree with you that we need to write descriptively, but I think it's very clear that each character needs to be accepted with a complete profile to be used as a character who interacts with other characters. I'm planning on having Dara interact with her family, but as they won't interact with other RP characters, they don't need profiles. Also, it'll all be from Dara's perspective.
It's really hard for others to write about interacting with other players' characters if they don't have a description of what they look like at the very least.

While maybe it would be a little helpful to have what every character looks like, I don't like the idea of having seven or eight paragraphs on every single character just because they talk to someone besides your own characters. As the rp goes on, there will probably be a lot of new characters introduced (people from the black market, people at the school, people from Enthia's political group, I know I plan on introducing Ri's old dancing team to someone, most likely Felix if possible, plus she's going to meet a lot of new people at school that Quinn will probably know). If it's a secondary character, I think it's kind of safe to say it's everyone's character. As long as the reactions are keeping in character, I don't think it would be a problem to control someone else's secondary character.

All right. I've had a few ideas, and I want to know other people's input. Please tell me what you think!

On the Matthew/Cassandra line:

When Cassandra's parents see her in the newspapers and magazines and everywhere in between, with Matthew Fletcher, they want her to come back. All the reporters taking pictures of her only gave them an excuse, but they also wanted her to come back for a different reason.

(Here's where I need your input!)

Cassandra's parents are working with the Royale government, and they've decided to try to make peace with Ambia. One condition to show they really mean it, is that Cassandra's parents want to marry her off to the Senator of Ambia. (which is why they were actually upset when she ran away.)

Once Cassandra is in Ambia, the Ambians can go back on their truce and start attacking Royalia when the Royales aren't expecting it.

Now, what about Matthew? Is he upset that Cassandra is gone, also to be married to the Senator of Ambia? Is he going to take action? Do you like this idea at all, and do you think it'll work?

I am totally cool with this if everyone else is. I think it's a great idea.

And, Matthew would probably act like he was okay with it and try to go along with it, but he'd get really depressed and Missy and Cheiko would be all, "You've got to put up a fight for those you love? What happened to protecting her?" And that sort of thing.

After he realizes that and the Ambians go back on their word, he'll get together a squad to go and rescue Cassandra.

Okay. The wedding with the Senator won't be immediate, and perhaps Matthew can interrupt the wedding! Cassandra will be a bit hurt, (because Matthew just let her go, but especially because her parents are just using her) but she'll get over it. When Matthew rescues her, she'll probably forget ever being angry at him anyway.

Okay, and now another plan.

Matty can find Litonya and Chloe in the store, and hear them talking about needing another singer for a song they're singing at the party. He could volunteer Cassandra, and then she's kind of swept away into it.

This idea is just a bonus idea, not so story changing.
